Adzon is making its move into energy sector within three different areas:

Power Plants:

Adzon is foraying into power sector with special focus on eco-friendly projects.

Our long and medium term investments are:

1. Run of the river hydro electric projects
2. CWM Ultra mega power plants
3. Wind farming

The company is working on the development of 250 MW of hydroelectric power generation in run of the river location in east coast of India. The project is expected to be completed by March 2009.

The company, along with its strategic partners, has secured 2028 MW power generation permission to supply electricity to the national grid.

Our endeavour is to consolidate the group's power generation business through reliable, high quality power supply at the cost-competitive rates.

Energy Extenders:

Adzon has introduced a new range of proprietary energy extending system for fuel, which is eco-friendly, efficient and cost effective. This product is specially designed fro enhancing atomization, increasing calorific value, sludge reduction and complete combustion of heavier fractions. These products incorporated into the fuel, reduce suspended particulate matter (SPM), NOx, SOx, Cox and ensure cleaner production and lesser pollution load.

Adzon has an excellent Research and Development Centre with top researchers working in this area.

Biofuels:

Adzon has already made an intensive study on numerous Bio-fuels and alternative energy opportunities.

Adzon's Bio-diesel project, which is the first bio-fuel project, has a capacity to produce 360000 MT of Bio-diesel per year which is IS 15607 certified and is compatible with European EN14214 standard and ASTM D 6751 standard . Various feedstock feasibility studies have been carried out at the Research and Development Centre.
